Hsin, are you crazy?

No… I am not…. I AM INSANE!!!! LOL…

Okay, so I assumed most of you know that I recently switched up my riding gear from Honda Rebel to KYMCO people 150 scooter (Proudly said it is from TAIWAN.) And I am loving it!! It is amazing how fun it is riding a scooter and which it also remind me of when I was in TW.

Anyway, I recently joined South bay scooter club and have been very excited about my first group ride!! Although, of course, I was nervous too.

So today was the day! I invited Mai to come along with me (Mai, you are super awesome/brave/fun…. U ROCK!). The place where we meet up first was at the Claim Jumper’s Restaurant at the Torrance Crossroads, as soon as we arrived there were people there displaying their scooters and waiting for rest of the crew to show up! Everyone’s scooter were kind of big…. hmm… worry maybe I might not able to fellow… they all were very very kind and tell me that they usually wait for the last one (I felt much much safer….)

We left around 1:15pm with about a group of 13 scooter total~ it was kind of wild at first loh… we were riding on the road like it is our own road….LOL…. it was a chaos when we went through sam’s club parking lot….darn it… should’ve take a picture of it.

Anyway, we kind of get in order after couple miles~
It was a good weather to ride! There were some parts that I wasn’t able to pick up speed with rest of the group but David, a guy who rode his vespa across the country: Vespacrosscountry.blogspot.com and some other guys would ride behind me to make sure that I weren’t left out!!! Thank you!!!

So it roughly took us~ 1 hour and 40 minutes (with two gas stops) to get to MALIBU!!!! We were supposed to ride Ventura County but due to the heavy traffic and bunch of us were tire already… Our leader was very smart and kind to stop in Malibu! But man, I mean even in Malibu… I was just freaking amazed that I can make it this freaking far!!!!!!!!!!

Riding along the ocean…. it was just absolutely the most beautiful thing to do ever!!! Although it was cold…LOL…

Here are some photos from the ride:

Great day. So much fun. Tired. Go to sleep. End of story~~~
